Google has decided to break its commercial ties with the Chinese company Huawei. This will leave millions of users around the world without apps like YouTube, Google Drive or Gmail and without Google Play services. This veto is due to the recent incorporation of this company in the black list of companies of Donald Trump.

What will happen to Huawei phones

Huawei is the second company that more smartphones sells worldwide. First of all we have Samsung and in third place, Apple. However, in Spain this Chinese company is in first position.

On the one hand, if you have a device of this brand, Google apps are not going to disappear from your mobile, but you will not be able to update them. So, in the long run they will stop working. On the other hand, people who decide to buy a new Huawei will not have access to Google Play. In addition, they will not have apps like YouTube, Google Drive or Gmail. However, the Reuters news agency has reported that what this company can do is access the public version of Android (open source licenses).

At the moment, more details on this matter are unknown. The only thing the company has said is that they are already working on their own operating system.

Intel, Broadcom, Qualcomm and Xilinx Inc join the veto

After announcing the veto of Google, manufacturers of very important processors have decided to also veto this company. Thus, Intel, Broadcom, Qualcomm and Xilinx Inc have decided that for the moment they will stop selling their products to Huawei.

As we said at the beginning of this post, it all started with the Trump blacklist. This, has been another of the measures of the president of the United States to fight in his commercial war against China. Well, it must be said that the fact that Google has decided to end its commercial relationship with Huawei is not going to make things easy for this company.
